Program Overview

Presstwood Design offers a 10% referral commission to approved partners who refer clients that result in a completed website project. Our referral program is designed to reward quality introductions while ensuring a smooth experience for all parties.

Commission Structure

• Initial Payment (5%): Paid when the referred client signs a contract and pays their initial deposit.
• Completion Payment (5%): Paid when the project is completed and final payment has been received from the client.
• Scope Limitation: Commissions apply ONLY to the initial website design and development project. NO commissions are paid on recurring services including website care plans, hosting fees, domain registrations, or any ongoing maintenance services.

Qualification Criteria

• Minimum project value of $2,000 to qualify for referral commission.
• Referrals must be new to Presstwood Design (not existing clients or active prospects).
• Referrals are only valid for new website builds, or website rebuilds (not ad hoc website work or changes).
• Referred client must mention the referring partner at the time of initial contact or the partner must inform Presstwood Design of the referral in advance.

Referral Validity

• Referrals remain valid for 90 days from the date of introduction.
• If a referred client signs a contract after the 90-day period, no referral fee will be paid unless extended by prior agreement.
• In cases where multiple partners refer the same prospect, the commission will be paid to the first referring partner.

Commission Statement and Payment Process

• Presstwood Design will issue a Commission Statement when payment milestones are reached (after client deposit or project completion).
• The Commission Statement will detail the client name, project value, commission amount, and GST requirements.
• Partners should submit invoices based on this statement within 7 days to ensure timely payment.
• Commissions will be paid via electronic transfer within 14 days of receiving a valid invoice.
• Referring partners must have a valid ABN and provide banking details.

Taxation

• All commissions are exclusive of GST.
• Partners must provide a simple invoice that includes their ABN and contact details.
• GST-registered partners should add 10% GST to their commission amount.
• Partners not registered for GST should note this on their invoice (no GST added).
• If a partner cannot provide an ABN, tax withholding requirements may apply.
• Partners are responsible for reporting commission income in their tax returns.

Client Cancellation

• If a client cancels their project before completion:
  • Partner retains the initial 5% commission already paid.
  • The remaining 5% completion commission will not be paid.
• If a client fails to pay Presstwood Design, no further commission will be paid regardless of project status.

Referral Process

1. Partner introduces potential client to Presstwood Design via email, phone, or in-person.
2. Partner notifies Presstwood Design of the referral by email to austin@presstwood.design.
3. Presstwood Design confirms receipt of the referral.
4. Presstwood Design tracks progress and notifies partner of key milestones (contract signing, project completion).
5. Presstwood Design issues Commission Statement when milestones are reached.
6. Partner submits invoice based on the Commission Statement.
7. Presstwood Design processes payment within 14 days of receiving a valid invoice.

Marketing Materials

• Presstwood Design can provide approved partners with digital marketing materials upon request.
• Partners may not create their own marketing materials for Presstwood Design services without approval.

Agreement Term

• This referral agreement remains in effect until terminated by either party.
• Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice.
• Any valid referrals made prior to termination will still be eligible for commission.

Confidentiality

• Partners agree to maintain confidentiality regarding Presstwood Design’s pricing, business processes, and client information.
• Partners will not use Presstwood Design’s client information for any purpose other than the referral relationship.

By participating in the Presstwood Design Referral Partner Program, partners acknowledge and agree to these terms.
